This is the history of internal combustion engine the parts I like

 

-5th century Roman first did with crankshaft-connecting rod machines to do sawmills

-17th century Christiaan Huygens designed gunpowder to drive water pumps  the first rudimentary

internal combustion piston engine

-1780s  Alessandro Volta built a toy electric pistol which electric spark explode in a mixture of air and hydrogen which use this pressure to fire cork from the gun

-1794   Robert Street built a compressionless engine

-1807   Swiss engineer Francois Isaac de Rivaz built an internal combustion engine

powered by a hydrogen and oxygen mixture ignited by electric spark.

-1824   Sardi Carnot established the thermodynamic theory for heat engines to

have more temperature difference between the upper and lower working temperature

 

-1854-57    Eugenio Barsanti and Felice Matteucci patented the first 4- cycle engine

but lost

 

-1878    Dugald clerk Designed first two-Stroke engine

 

only till 1878 Ill post more after 1878 cuz after 19th century the innovation bursts off!.
